The sense of intimate invitation was one real discovery in our investigation. If we made room for the viewer in the work, if we placed ourselves alongside the audience, then a shared experience was possible. We positioned ourselves in and around the audience. We created a kind of narrative ambiguity that allowed an audience to connect elements. We showed the viewer what they needed to know, and tried to leave the rest for them to fill in.
